Why Concrete Stains
Concrete pathways, drive-thrus, and entry pads are porous. They absorb discarded chewing gum, leaking automotive fluids, spilled sodas, and everyday foot-traffic grime.
Because these stains wick deep into the concrete, cold-water pressure washing does little. It rinses off the surface dirt and leaves the dark, embedded stains behind.
Hot-Water Pressure Washing
SDI cleans stained concrete with heat. Our truck-mounted, diesel-fired units produce 250°F water at 4000 PSI. The hot, pressurized water breaks down embedded oils and loosens baked-on chewing gum.
Pre-Treatment
Application of heavy-duty concrete degreasers to initiate the breakdown of deep petroleum and organic stains.
Thermal Rotary Scrub
Using 36-inch surface cleaners to apply 250°F water evenly across the concrete without leaving "zebra stripes."
Gum Removal
Detailed wand work with hot water to lift embedded chewing gum from the concrete.
High-Volume Rinse
Flushing the loosened residue off the property, leaving a bright, even, clean concrete finish.
