Badly Neglected Ductwork
When a system gets only a quick "spray-and-wipe" cleaning for years, the deepest horizontal runs of the ductwork fill with hardened, polymerized grease. That buildup is a serious fire hazard.
Grease this hard cannot be dissolved by standard chemicals or removed by pressure washing. It has to be scraped out by hand, which can save the ductwork from teardown and replacement.
Full System Restoration
SDI restores the full system. Confined-space trained technicians enter large ductwork, or we cut new access ports where needed. Using heavy scraping tools and heated rotary degreasing equipment, we remove the hardened carbon buildup, which can be inches thick, and bring the system back into service.
