Your Rooftop Exhaust Fan
The rooftop upblast fan is what pulls smoke and heat out of your kitchen. It runs in a harsh environment: constant heat, grease-laden air, and long hours of operation.
Uneven grease buildup throws the fan wheel out of balance, and the vibration wears out the bearings or snaps the drive belt. When the fan stops, smoke fills the kitchen and cooking has to stop.
Fan Cleaning & Maintenance
SDI includes fan maintenance in our cleaning service. After cleaning the aluminum fan blades with hot water so the wheel runs balanced, our technicians grease the bearings, replace worn drive belts with heat-resistant belts, and set belt tension for proper airflow.
