Electrostatic spray systems are a proven technology used extensively in automotive painting. It allows for an even coat of a solution to be applied in hard to reach areas and even areas which are not in direct line-of-sight to the spray nozzle. This technology has long since been adopted into the sanitization industry as a tool to break the chain of pathogen mobility.
Most surfaces in a facility are naturally negatively charged. Our electrostatic spray systems positively charge micro-droplets of sanitizing solution as they are sprayed, resulting in an ultra-strong attraction to all surrounding surfaces for truly uniform coverage throughout the targeted area. All vertical, horizontal and three-dimensional surfaces in the targeted area are fully sanitized, with no areas being missed by the sanitizing spray.
Studies are now reporting that SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) can survive on surfaces for several days or even weeks, and can be hidden or impossible to reach when using standard spray and wipe methods. However, because the electrostatically-applied micro-droplets are super-attracted to surfaces, they are able to fully coat all three-dimensional surfaces.
